PINILI, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 6, 2020–Police Chief Jephre Taccad reported that a search warrant operation at the house of a farmer at Brgy. Barbar, this town yielded two M-16 Armalite rifles with two magazines and ammunition for Caliber 5.56mm pistol.
He said the farmer’s house was searched by police operatives in the wake of reports that he was allegedly firing his gun in the neighborhood.
The houses of two relatives of the said farmer were also searched for illegal firearms and ammunition but the result was negative, Major Taccad said. (tri-media report)
