Stainless tricycles install cover sticker to avoid fine

LAOAG CITY, Feb. 28, 2020–Operators/drivers of stainless tricycles plying the city routes here were now covering their sidecars with colored stickers or paints to avoid penalties when Land Transportation Office deputized agents will strictly enforce the law against stainless motor vehicles including tricycles plying the road, officials said.

Motor shops here were loaded with rush jobs of installing stickers or paints to cover the stainless sidecars of tricycles which reflect glaring light that impairs drivers’ night vision and eventually causes road accidents, LTO officials here said.

They said any violators of the law would be fined P5,000 cash. (tri-media report)
