Salesboy survives gunmen’s attack

LAOAG CITY, May 11, 2021–A salesboy escaped death after gunmen riding-in-tandem shot and wounded him along the Bypass Road at Brgy. Pila, this city, police said.

Investigators said the victim identified as Melvin Bugaoisan Pasion, 51, of Brgy. Dibua who works as a salesboy of an auto supply store here was driving an owner-type jeep on this way home from work when the suspects fired at him.

Responders rushed the bloodied victim to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound in the head’s left side.

A SOCO team found a slug and empty shell for a bullet of unknown caliber at the crime scene.

Probers could not yet determine the motive of the slay try. (tri-media report)
