LAOAG CITY, Oct. 19, 2020–Eloisa Alcantara of Brgy. Cavit, this city has firmly testified to the police that she could identify the two suspects who allegedly mauled her son to death.
She told investigators that she saw the two suspects fleeing from the crime scene on the night her son was killed.
She said the suspects, together with accomplices whom she could not recognize, fled aboard a motorcycle and a kurong-kurong (improvised tricycle) after they ganged up on her son.
Investigation showed that the victim and the suspects had a previous personal feud which was tackled in the barangay level.
However, it was learned that the suspects had denied any knowledge of the victim’s slay. (tri-media report)
