SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte, Oct. 19, 2020– A man bound for Badoc town to deliver money for his child’s milk was held at a police checkpoint here for possession of alleged illegal drugs, a Sunday police report said.
P/Lt. Godofredo Ribuyaco, the deputy police chief, said the suspect of Dingras town was driving his motorcycle when flagged down at the checkpoint in Brgy. 6 this town.
When he opened his compartment to show his documents, the lawmen saw suspicious items inside prompting to conduct a further search on him which yielded sachets of alleged shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect, a drug surrenderee, said the confiscated drugs are owned by a certain friend. (tri-media report)
