SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte, May 4, 2021–Town Mayor Dr. Alfredo “Boying” Valdez Jr. clarified that contrary to report, only 90, not 200, call center agents at Alorica BPO here were tested positive for COVID-19.
The mayor said all of the said patients were immediately isolated under strict health monitoring.
He said the village officials at Brgy. Uno here, where Alorica is located, closely coordinated with the medical frontliners to monitor the situation.
Meanwhile, the municipal police station here was also temporarily closed from civilian visitors after one of its members was tested positive for the coronavirus.
The patient, now in isolation, is a native of Bangar, La Union but assigned here on official duty. (tri-media report)
