VINTAR, Ilocos Norte, Jan. 6, 2021– A 15-year-old driver perished in a motorcycle crash at Brgy. Parut, this town, a PNP report said.
P/Major Arnel Tabaog, the town police chief, reported that the fatality and his back rider, 14, were going to a piggery farm when the motorcycle they boarded allegedly hit a big stone on the road leading to the accidental crash.
Due to the impact, the two riders were thrown into the ditch.
The 15 years old was declared dead on arrival at the hospital due to head injuries while the 14 years old survived with bruises, Major Tabaog said.
Investigators said that under the law, parents have liability if they allow their minor children to drive any motor vehicles, worst if they figure in a road accident. (tri-media report)
