CAMP JUAN, Laoag city, Jan. 25– The Ilocos Norte police provincial office’s investigation section is probing the case of a rookie policeman who allegedly slapped a woman and even wrestled her neck during a tiff inside the Laoag police station.
P/Inspector Angelito de Juan was tasked by police director S/Supt. Cesar Pasiwen to expedite the investigation in an effort to have a concrete result.
In a broadcast interview, the woman complainant told reporters that the erring cop was off-duty and not in police uniform when the incident happened. (tri-media report)
