Onse Reef

Department of Tourism divers report to the Municipal Officials of Paoay, Ilocos Norte about their confirmed findings of Onse Reef, a 12-hectare-protected marine sanctuary located within the territory of Barangays Bacsil, Mumulaan and Nagbacalan. LGU-Paoay will recommend to the DOT that Onse Reef be declared as a tourist diving site. With DOT’s nod, it will catapult Paoay into the world of international scuba diving activities. So far,  Onse Reef is now a must see attraction for tourists offering off road rides, sandboarding trip and recently scuba diving adventure. (Photos by Ms. April Agustin of the SB office)
