Local seismologists said they recorded at least nine minor earthquakes that shook the province of Ilocos Norte on January 23 and 24, 2020.
Of tectonic origin or abnormal movement of the earth’s crust, the tremors were felt at night time with various magnitudes ranging from 1.5 to 4.3.
The quakes’ epicenters were reported in Pasuquin and Carasi towns, the seismologist said. (tri-media report)
