Three teen motorbikers hurt in a road accident

BATAC CITY, Oct. 31, 2019–Three young boys, aged 16 and 18, were injured when their motorcycle they were riding in collided with L300 van along the national highway at Brgy. Caunayan, this city, police reported.

The driver, aged 16, suffered a broken left leg and head injury while his two back riders sustained minor injuries noting that all three wore no crash helmet, investigators said.

All were rushed to the MMMHospital here for treatment.

The young victims came from a drinking spree and were cruising the highway when their motorcycle allegedly swerved to the wrong lane and collided with the L300 van coming from the opposite direction.

Due to the impact, the victims were thrown 10 meters away. The driver of the van emerged unscathed. (tri-media report)
