SARRAT, Ilocos Norte, Oct. 29, 2019–Suspected shabu and dried Marijuana (MJ) leaves were seized during a raid in a house at Brgy. Sta. Rosa, this town, lawmen reported.
PDEA agent Ricky Ramos said the PNP-Sarrat, PDEU and his unit jointly conducted a search warrant on the house being used for the suspected illegal drug trade linked to a supplier from Metro Manila.
The house owner, however, denied any knowledge about the confiscated drug noting that he had not long seen his son, whom he claimed as a mistaken narco-suspect.
He told reporters that several people were often seen in their compound but their purpose was to buy hogs and piglets raised in their piggery farm.
The raiding team said they were firm in their positive drug finding adding that the father-and-son suspects are given due process to prove their innocence in court. (tri-media report)
