CURRIMAO, Ilocos Norte, March 26, 2020–A cargo ship from Taiwan was placed under a 14-day quarantine after it docked at Omnico port, this town a week ago, the Philippine Coastguard reported.
Commander Laurel Paul Mariano Jr. of Coastguard station based here said that the ship was loaded with eleven tons of cement bags imported from Taiwan.
He said they have to wait for the completion of the ship’s quarantine period before they could determine the number of its crews. (tri-media report)
