The city government has launched its “Online Covid-19 Booster Shot Registration” last January 4, 2022.
Posted in the official Facebook page of Laoag City Mayor Michael Keon, the registration is only open to Laoag City residents.
However, only only Sinovac and AstraZeneca are available for booster shots, the Laoag City Vaccine Operations Center (OpCen) clarified.
The post said that “those who are willing to be vaccinated by the said vaccines will be given priority for scheduling,”
It further stated that applicants with other vaccine booster shot preferences may still proceed with the registration but will be scheduled when the preferred brand will be available.
According to the post, for those who successfully registered, the City’s Vaccine Operations Center (OpCen) will inform them the exact date and time of the administration of their booster shots.
In a separate interview, Laoag City Mayor Michael Keon urges residents to register online for a booster shot at the soonest possible time. (IS)
