SOLSONA, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 21–Barangay councilman Jovencio Pascua of Brgy. Manalpac this town narrowly escaped death when an assailant fired a gun but missed him as the target, lawmen said.
Investigators said Pascua was about to board his motorcycle parked near a drug store when one of the suspects riding in tandem approached and shot him but missed.
When he called for help, the suspects fled towards Brgy. Barcelona this town. (tri-media report)
