PAOAY, Ilocos Norte, July 24, 2020–Benrose Cachero died when he accidentally fell into a deep well near their house at Brgy. Nagbacalan, this town, police reported.
P/Lt. Marlon Martinez, the town police chief, said that based on the testimony of Benson Cachero, his brother Benrose accidentally fell into the deep well probably due to his epilepsy attack.
They were looking for the victim at lunchtime when they heard him calling for help down inside the well.
Responders rescued him but he later expired despite efforts to revive him.
Police said there was no foul play behind the tragedy.(tri-media report)
