PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 24, 2020–A thief allegedly stole the cash and documents of a Chinese national at his boarding house located in this town.
P/Capt. Eduardo Santos, the town police chief, said the Chinese, an engineer by occupation, lost P20,000 cash, passport, ID cards, checkbook, and other documents.
Investigation showed that the Chinese heard a short alarm sound but he ignored it.
Responding cops later found at the victim’s car a hammer which the thief probably used it to break the car window. (tri-media report)
