Edgar “EJ” Jacinto, chief of reporters at Bombo radio station in Laoag City passed away at age 53.
Messages of condolence to his bereaved family poured in as posted by media colleagues, friends and relatives on the Facebook page since Wednesday, Feb. 19 when the news of his untimely demise was aired.
Laoag Bishop Renato Mayugba officiated a mass during the wake of EJ Jacinto, according to Jovie Curammeng of DZEA-Laoag on her Feb.23 FB post.
A versatile broadcaster, EJ rose from the rank as a reporter until he became the chief of the reportorial team at Bomboradyo-Laoag.
