MARCOS, Ilocos Norte, April 27, 2021–A 51-year-old tricycle driver was believed to have been salvaged somewhere and dumped his body in a remote village of this town, lawmen reported.
Police theorized the victim, a resident of San Nicolas town, was fatally shot in another place and later threw away his cadaver in Brgy. Tabucbuc, this town.
The body bore a gunshot wound below the chest believed inflicted by a shotgun bullet, investigators said.
They said there were no traces of bloodstain at the scene where the corpse was found by a passerby farmer who went to his cornfield.
Police added that the victim’s tricycle remained missing and nowhere to be found at press time. (tri-media report)
