LAOAG CITY, Nov. 9, 2020–A balikbayan senior citizen who was undergoing quarantine allegedly succumbed to stage 4 colon cancer and not from COVID-19.
This was the finding of City Health Officer Dr. Renato Mateo about the demise of the balikbayan from Hawaii.
The victim, a native of Brgy. Bengcag, this city, was about to complete his quarantine when he was found dead inside his hotel room, Dr. Mateo told reporters. (tri-media report)
