Woman pimp falls in NBI entrapment

LAOAG CITY, Nov. 9, 2020–The National Bureau of Investigation is set to file today human trafficking charges against an arrested woman suspected as a pimp.

NBI-Ilocos Norte chief Atty. Diosdado Araos based in this city said the suspect hails from Isabela but she is presently residing in this province where she engaged her illegal activities.

Lawyer Araos said the suspect was collared during the NBI entrapment operation in a hotel here.

Rescued at the hotel room was a 22-year-old girl allegedly pimped by the suspect to an undercover agent who disguised as a customer.

The girl was turned over to the city DSWD office for guidance and counseling while the suspect remained under the NBI custody. (tri-media report)
