A tricycle driver was gunned down by an assailant during a shooting incident that happened at Guerrero St., Brgy. 19, Laoag City, according to a Feb. 20, 2021 PNP report.
Police Chief Lt. Col. Rafael Lero said that the victim was rushed to the hospital where he expired while being treated at the emergency room for his gunshot wounds in the body.
Investigation showed that the victim parked his tricycle in front of a residential house when the gunman alighted from his motorcycle and shot the tricycle driver at close range.
At press time, P/Major Sheryl Guzman, the spokesperson of INPPO, reported that a prime suspect in the said fatal shooting was arrested and will be charged with murder. (tri-media report)
