To make a search easier, suspect tells cops where to find his hidden gun

LAOAG CITY, Aug. 6, 2020–Lawmen here exerted little effort in locating a hidden firearm and ammunition, thanks to the subject person for being cooperative during a search operation in his boarding house at Brgy. Buttong, this city.

P/Lt. Col. Rafael Lero, the new city police chief, said the suspect, a businessman, frontally met the raiding cops inside his boarding house and pointed to a guitar case where he concealed his alleged firearm.

Colonel Lero said his men later seized an M16 rifle with short and long magazines, eleven live bullets for the M16 rifle, and 72 live bullets for Caliber .45 pistol.

Reporters at the scene tried to interview the suspect but he courteously declined. (tri-media report)
