The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte’s Task Force Salun-at reported on April 4 the 8th COVID-19 fatality in this northern province.
The patient was tagged as IN-C960, a 52-year-old male resident of Brgy 20, San Miguel, this city.
The patient was listed as COVID-19 positive on March 22, 2021 and was hospitalized for days as symptomatic.
Meanwhile, health authorities recorded on April 4 the highest numbers of COVID-19 positive new cases in the province in a single day totalling to 57.
