Wild Animals at Laoag’s Rizal Park Free from their Cages

LAOAG CITY (Sept. 4) – Wild animals at Rizal Amusement Park here were finally freed from their cages and and immediately released them to their natural habitat in an undisclosed forest in the province.

Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Loida Valenzuela confirmed that all wild animals at the park such as monkeys, snakes and wild ducks had all gone from captivity as ordered by Governor Imee Marcos.

She said that representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) were tasked in making sure that these animals return to their natural habitat.

Dr. Valenzuela purposely did not disclose the areas in the province where these wild animals were released to protect them from hunters and other interested individuals.

She personally thanked ENRO chief Romeo Angay and his personnel for painstakingly took the responsibility in bringing the wild animals to the wilderness where they truly belong. (EDG)
