SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte (Nov. 9) – A 23-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle he was driving collided head-on with a dump truck last night at Brgy. 3, this town.
Authorities identified the victim as Rogelio Daligcon, resident of Brgy. San Manuel, Sarrat.
Investigators said that Daligcon headed southward to fetch his live-in partner in Laoag City when the accident occurred. The truck driver Rabinal Principe surrendered to the police station.
Daligcon was rushed to GRASM Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
A liquor test result on the truck driver was negative.
