SARRAT, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 5–Unbelievable but it”s true. The obscure school here, particularly the Sarrat North Central Elementary School bested 44,000 school competitors and was declared the country’s Best Implementor of Brigada Eskwela of the Year. Ms. Mila Malvar, principal, said DepEd cited their school for its outstanding feat as Brigada top achiever.
