SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte (Aug. 27) – Owing to his impressive performance as 2nd district engineer of Ilocos Norte during the past years, Engr. Ernesto Paraon has been designated anew to occupy the same position.
To his surprise, his new bosses under the P-Noy administration pulled him out from his post as chief quality officer in the DPWH regional office and named him to head the DPWH 2nd engineering district.
In a simple turnover ceremony held at DPWH Bldg., Brgy. San Pablo here, outgoing district engineer Gil Lorenzo relinquished his post to incoming district engineer Paraon with DPWH regional admin officer Dr. Shyla Arellano as special guest.
On the other hand, DPWH OIC 1st district engineer Nestor Pasion remains to occupy his post with principal office at Brgy. Cavit near the Laoag International Airport.
