Livelihood Training held

LAOAG CITY, Dec. 1 – The City Population Commission Office (PopCom) under the auspices of the city government of Laoag recently conducted a livelihood training to at least four barangays in the city.

Felicitas Santiago of the City PopCom said participants of the said training were mostly out-of-school youths and full-time housewives.

Santiago added that the participants were trained to make bags, purse, keychain and dishwashing soup.

This livelihood training is conducted yearly with many residents in the city joining the training.

The said livelihood program is one of the activities of the Population Development Week celebration, she added. (Theo Guiang/with report from Cherry Joy Discaya )
