LAOAG CITY (March 21) – City Sports Coordinator Hipolito Salva reported that the athletes delegation of Laoag City public schools division has placed 5th in the recently-concluded Region 1 Athletic Association meet held last week in Pangasinan.
Salva said that the city athletes had retained their post as 5th placer in the overall ranking, the same position they held in last year’s IRAA hostilities. At least their performance had improved a lot in this year’s edition, Salva noted.
He recommended that the city athletes should focus on individual events instead of team events to have a big chance to bag more medals and trophies.
