PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte (Dec. 25) – An aging sea turtle, caught by fishermen in Brgy. Pansian, this town, was later released to the sea last week.
Jose Morata, municipal environment and natural resources officer (MENRO), said that the said sea turtle may be aged 60-65 years old.
He said the sea turtle was caught by fishermen in the waters of Pansian but was turned over to the municipal government of Pagudpud, which then took care of the said sea mammal until its release to the sea.
