PINILI, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 17, 2020–Alex Grande y Tolentino, 42, married, of San Marcelino, Dingras town, was hospitalized when he was pinned in critical condition between two dump trucks in a freak accident at Brgy. Puritac here, lawmen said.
Investigation showed that the victim parked his dump truck and alighted from it.
When he saw that his truck was slowly moving forward, he rushed to stop it.
Unfortunately, for hurrying in panic, he was pinned between his own truck and another dump truck parked in front of it.
Pardon for the horrifying words of witnesses who said that due to the pin force, the victim’s intestines came out, a no-no sight for those with a weak heart.
Rescuers rushed him to a private clinic here and later transferred him to the MMMHospital in Batac City for further treatment. (tri-media report)
