DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte, May 19– Clarito Fabro was bound for Laoag City to sell his 20 piglets aboard his improvised tricycle or kurong-kurong (KK).
While cruising westward along the Madamba road here, a speeding motorcycle allegedly grabbed Fabro’s lane resulting in the collision, Patrolman Oliver Corpuz, police investigator, said.
He said that due to the impact, Fabro, a businessman of Brgy. Puttao, Solsona town, was unlucky as the steering bar of his kurong-kurong pinned him to death.
It was unsure what happened to the 20 piglets occupants whether they survived the collision.
However, Fabro’s wife, his co-rider, emerged unhurt.
On the other hand, the involved motorcycle driver from Marcos town sustained a broken leg while his back rider was also spared. (tri-media report)
