CURRIMAO, Ilocos Norte — Forty-three (43) College Scholars from the municipality of Currimao received their stipend amounting to P5,000.00 each at the Office of the Municipal Mayor on January 5, 2022.
In his short message during the awarding rites Currimao Mayor Edward Quilala challenged the scholars to strive hard in their studies.
He told them to fulfill their dreams and become successful, so that they will, eventually, help (their) family and siblings.
He also reminded them also to give back by helping others who are in need, when they will be successful.
The local government vowed to continue providing scholarships to poor but deserving students from their town. (tri-media report)
