BURGOS, Ilocos Norte, July 13, 2021–P/Lt. Carlo Rabago, the town police chief, confirmed that a 32-year-old man allegedly shot himself to death inside their house in this town.
He said the victim, who sustained a gunshot wound on the head, worked in an Insurance Claims Assistance Center here.
Investigators said a family member heard gunfire at 4:15 p.m. yesterday.
When they checked the burst of gunfire, they saw the bloodied victim slumped in his bedroom.
Responders rushed the victim to the hospital but attending doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Investigators found at the scene a Caliber .45 pistol with four bullets, the magazine for ammo, empty shell, and slug. (tri-media report)
