VINTAR, Ilocos Norte, July 2–Arcelita Gamiao, 32, a native of San Isidro, Claveria, Cagayan but married to a farmer here, allegedly hanged herself inside their house due to depression, lawmen reported.
Major Joseph Baltazar, town police chief, said the husband didn’t expect her to commit suicide saying that she was happy in the afternoon when he handed to her the money he earned from rice planting.
Her medical record showed that the victim had been taking a maintenance dose for depression even before she got married. (tri-media report)
