At least 5,410 farmers of Batac City have received their fuel subsidies from the City Government of Batac under the leadership of Mayor Albert Chua.
The Fuel Subsidy Program covers all farmers with crops this dry cropping season. The quantity of fuel received is computed based on the type of crop and area planted by each farmer, with a minimum of 4 liters to be received.
Recipients must be registered under the Registry System for Basic Sector in Agriculture (RSBSA) and duly validated by their respective Agricultural Technologists.
Moreover, the program aims to ensure on time irrigation of crops this dry cropping season and minimize the impact of fuel prize increase to our famers.
The distribution was graced by Mayor Albert D. Chua together with the Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Windell D. Chua to convey their relentless support to our Batacqueño farmers.(CGB)
