Department of Health – Ilocos Region Director Paula Paz M. Sydiongco today administered the oath taking ceremony of 95 newly appointed and promoted personnel of the Ilocos Sur Medical Center (ISMC) located at the CIty of Candon, Ilocos Sur.
Sydiongco congratulated and welcomed the new employees and encouraged them to work hard for the improvement of the health system to further benefit our countrymen.
“Huwag po sana nating kakalimutang pagsilbihang mabuti sa lubos ng ating makakaya ang ating mga kababayan at tulungan sila sa kanilang mga problemang pangkalusugan upang sila ay gumaling at makapagpatuloy sa kanilang buhay ng walang alalahaning kakramdaman,” she emphasized.
Majority of the new employees are medical personnel including doctors and nurses, nursing assistants and ward assistants.
“May you all continue to improve patient care outcomes and improve the lives of patients and also create safe environments for them. We must practice patient‐centered care to increase patient satisfaction and improve outcomes,” Sydiongco added.
Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center (CFEMTC) has also conducted its first Oath Taking Ceremony last May 3, 2022 for its 15 new medical personnel.
A total of 110 new health employees has been employed by the regional office to provide health services work including medical assessments and daily treatment at the ISMC and CFEMTC. (Glen S. Ramos)
