2,440 VEHICLES GET FREE RFID INSTALLATION. Motorists in Ilocos Norte took advantage of free EasyTrip/Autosweep RFID Installation conducted at the Rodolfo Fariñas Jr. By-Pass road in Laoag City on January 26-29, 2021. First district Congresswoman Ria Fariñas said that at least 2,440 motor vehicles received stickers during the installation. She thanked the San Miguel Corporation (SMC), Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) headed by Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc, INPPO, and DPWH INED-1 for the successful holding of the said event. The AutoSweep RFID, which is used for contactless, cashless, and non-stop travels, is exclusively used at Skyway, South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway, Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).
