SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte, July 15, 2019– Police authorities in Ilocos Norte stepped up an investigation on the recent three stone-throwing incidents involving passenger buses owned by a transport company based in Laoag City.
Investigators reported that the first incidents happened in Currimao and the latest two incidents took place in San Nicolas.
The fact that the suspects struck three buses owned by one transport company had baffled probers who vowed to solve the three cases in order to ensure the safety of the riding public, the report said.
It was learned that no passengers were hurt in the three incidents except the eye of one bus driver absorbed some small particles of broken glass from the windshield. (tri-media report)
