PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte, Dec. 31– Merlita Molina, 58, of Brgy. Dilavo, this town, was found dead in a coral reef several hours before the New Year’s Eve here, relatives said.
Investigators theorized that the victim probably fell due to strong wind while gathering seaweeds near the shoreline. Her head hit some pointed rocks at the coral reef bed, probers said.
Market vendors said the victim was their long-time supplier of seaweed products.(tsg)
