LAOAG CITY – In light of the government’s program highlighting the month of March as Fire Prevention Month, elements of the Laoag City’s Bureau of Fire Protection of Laoag City are conducting inspection to all business establishments in the city.
City Fire Marshall Senior Inspector Bonifacio Sacatrapos said deployed BFP teams are now inspecting on the spot all business establishments in the city to check if they have complied with all fire safety standards issued by the city government.
He said that of the 11 business establishments they have initially inspected last week, a hotel was found it has no automatic fire extinguisher in the building. The team advised the operator to fully equip the hotel with the gadgets .(edg)
