LAOAG CITY, July 29–Stranger. Weird. Vagabond. These words sharply described the character of Swiss national Rene Mindhart Kurt, who was apprehended by Immigration agents here. When grilled, he spoke off-tangent, incoherent and non-sense when collared as he roamed around the city. He had no alien papers to show although BI records noted that he entered the country in 2007.

BILLY DIES
BANGUI, Ilocos Norte, July 26–Love triangle apparently drove Billy Joel Vidad to pull the pin of a hand grenade that exploded in front of his ex-GF Marites Dalija, his rival Herbert Udon, fellow boarders Jomar and Joylyn, cops said. The blast, which occurred in a student dorm in Brgy. Manayon here, mutilated the frail body of Billy and wounded the aforesaid four, all students of Bangui Institute of Technology.

LAOAG CITY, July 29–A pandemonium broke loose in a neighborhood at Brgy. Gabu this morning as stoning and yelling led to a stabbing spree. Cops said the violent scene left one Roger Manguba Jr. allegedly dead and Glenn Candelario injured. The latter is the brother of Sherwin who allegedly clashed with Roger in the incident, the lawmen added.
