5 MMSU graduates among Top 10 in LET

The Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), once again, proved to be at par with the top universities in the country as it produced five (5) topnotchers in the September 2016 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) – Elementary Level.

MMSU’s College of Education is based in Laoag City while its main campus is located in Batac City.

The following MMSU graduates who landed in the top 10 are Clarissa Pascual  (Top 7) posting a rating of 86.80%, Shiena Mae Acierda and Ralph Christian Currimao (Top 8), both having 86.60%, Heidiebel Balais and Darie Mae Mateo (Top 10) with a score of 86.20%.

Record by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) also showed that MMSU also earned the 6th spot for Top Performing Schools in the country with 87.72% rate.

Out of 228 takers from the university, 200 hurdled the board exam in the Elementary level, surpassing the national rate at 30.18%.

Meanwhile in the Secondary Level, the university produced a 70.59% passing rate, higher than the 33.78% national passing rate. 120 out of 170 takers from the university passed the exam. (with a report from Sirmata)
