PAOAY, Ilocos Norte — Paoay Mayor Jessie Galano has invited all interested groups to join the 2nd Paoay Lake Dragon Boat Competition scheduled on April 28-29, 2018 to be held at Brgy. Nagbacalan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte.
Galano thanked the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte headed by Governor Imee R. Marcos and the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in Laoag for extending their assistance for the hosting of the said tournament.
On April 28, a one-day clinic will be conducted to demonstrate all necessary skills and techniques in rowing to the participants while the next day will be the race day.
The Philippine Canoe, Kayak and Dragon Boat Federation will both conduct the clinic and officiate the race, it was known.
Galano added that no registration fees will be collected to the two-day event.
