Road access to Bangui Windmills now paved

BANGUI, Ilocos Norte — Tourists no longer worry of their having to endure rough and bumpy roads going to the widely-known Windmills in this town.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 1 Director Melanio C. Briosos reported that the road leading to the area has been paved.

He said that the Bantoc-Suyo-Baruyen Access Road which leads to the wind farm was completed, which involves the concreting of the gravel road and the widening of the bridge that connects to the place.

The project worth P58.526 million was started on March 31, 2015 and completed on November 30 of same year.
