LAOAG CITY (December 20) — Local police authorities here in Laoag City warned the public anew of the proliferation of fake peso bills. The warning was made by Police Supt. Sterling Blanco, chief of police of Laoag City PNP station.
Blanco said that although their station hasn’t received any cases of counterfeit bills in the city the public needs to be forewarned on bogus money of criminal syndicate which usually operates during Christmas season.
