Dr. Ma. Lourdes Otayza, medical director of the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH&MC) in Batac City, said proceeds of the ‘Padyak Para sa Kalusugan’ which the hospital is initiating will be donated to the Salun-at Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit corporation to give financial assistance to indigent patients and to assist the medical center in the establishment, maintenance and operation of health and medical services; the training and education of hospital staff; and for research programs.

Registration fee will be P250 with free event shirt to participants.

Physical Therapist Chard Nalundasan said the activity also promotes good health, particularly for cardiovascular endurance. Armed with stamina, bikers will negotiate a 40-kilometer stretch from Batac City to San Nicolas town passing through Suba Road to Paoay town and going back to Batac City.
