OCON IS NEW OIC PD

CAMP JUAN, Laoag City–Senior Supt. Albert Erasquin Ocon officially assumed on April 24 as new officer-in-charge of the Ilocos Norte police provincial office. He replaced outgoing S/S Sterling Blanco who served the province as OIC provincial director for more than four months. Blanco, who hails from Laoag City, returned to the PNP regional office at Camp Florendo, La Union.

The Tagalog-speaking S/S Ocon vowed to continue the anti-crime program of his predecessor and also adopt a new action plan for the province’s peace and order. He hails from San Jacinto, Pangasinan.

In a broadcast interview, he thanked Gov. Imee Marcos for welcoming him to the province as the new OIC PD.(jrg)
