LAOAG CITY —Laoag City Mayor Chevylle Fariñas was cited by an international award-giving body, as one of the country’s most outstanding mayors in the field of public service.
Mayor Fariñas was honored by Superbrand Marketing International, Inc. last March 17 at The City Club in Makati City. The mayor was not able to attend due to prior appointments, it was learned.
Fariñas has been cited for her various programs which provide better and quality services to all the barangays in the city.
SMI is an international company that is engaged in consumer and service products. Its Most Outstanding Mayor Award aims to honor local chief executives who play exceptional roles in nation-building.
